Fellowship One for Android is now supported by Fellowship Technologies/The Active Network. Visit http://www.fellowshipone.com/support for details.
As part of Fellowship One's commitment to the security of your church's data, any application that utilizes the F1 API needs to be explicitly allowed by your F1 administrator. This allows your church to know exactly which application(s) have access to your data and allows you to revoke access, if needed, for any reason.
To enable access to your church’s data by Fellowship One for Android:
So sorry about your phone! But don't worry. Your F1 data is safe as long as you revoke the access keys that are used to verify your identity to the API. Follow these steps to revoke access:
If a row has an icon on it, that means an action can be taken on that row. For instance, for any email address on the detail page the row will have an email icon. To send an email to that email address, click on the row. The legend below explains the icons:

From the individual detail view, press the Menu button on your phone and then press View Household.
Search for an individual and click on them in the results view to see the details. From the details view, press the menu key and then press Add as Contact. The contact will be added to your Phone-only (unsynced) contact list.
The Android platform is an ever evolving platform. The innovation from one version to the next can be quite staggering. The latest version of the platform (2.0 and greater) introduced the ability to sync contacts from multiple sources (Gmail and/or Exchange for instance). However, this functionality is not backwards compatible with earlier 1.5/1.6 version devices. In order for Fellowship One for Android to be available to the greatest number of users the decision was made to support Android versions 1.5 and greater. Therefore, when adding a contact from the detail view, it will be added to the Phone-only (unsynced) contact list that is available to all versions of Android unlike other sourced contact lists (Gmail/Exchange, etc.).
As time goes on, more and more 1.5/1.6 devices will be upgraded to 2.0+ versions of Android. Once a decision is made to only support 2.0+ versions of Android the Add as Contact functionality will be revised to allow you to select which sourced contact list you would like the contact added to.
Starting with Android 2.2 (Froyo), new API's exist that allow you to send data from your desktop computer to your phone. Using these new API's you are now able to send the details for an individual in your database to your phone allowing you to perform actions on that data. In order for this to happen you will need to download and install the open source Chrome to Phone extension on in Chrome and on your phone (there is also a Firefox to Phone extension). Once you have the extension installed and configured in your browser and phone, follow these steps to send an individuals data to the Fellowship One for Android app:
You should receive a notification on your phone that you have received data and a dialog box will appear that will allow you to either open the message with your browser or with the Fellowship One for Android application. Select Fellowship One for Android (and click the check box if you don't want to be prompted every time). Fellowship One for Android will load and automatically load the details for the individual you sent allowing you to perform whatever actions needed.
